Session 4: Unconventional Props Styling

I like styling props and creating a narrative image with objects, and it was fun to do photoshoots with background and light equipment. I felt limited with how many objects I had, and what the teacher brought. I did had an image of what I wanted to do, but there were some objects I didn’t have and I felt a bit alarmed. I also didn’t know where to buy the objects at, but it’s fine because I still made it work. One thing I’m proud of is working on the spot, and I could easily come up with a good image in my head. When my partner and I went out to explore the building, I needed their input of where and what they needed to do but they were unsure which left me confused on what we need to do. We walked around and I found certain spots that made me think of a good scene. I would say I did great on being open-minded and experimenting. However, I did help my partner with their imagery and taking their photos, versus when they take my pictures, it doesn’t turn out how I wanted it to be until I got behind the camera, and I see the image. I still make it work, and redirecting them.
