Session 6: External Trip Southbank

Today went well but also very long and a lot of walking. I did felt a lot of inspiration by the area and who i was with. I wanted to create a vibe that screamed editorial, very minimal but also includes a loud statement. I also want to create a narrative story. I felt proud with the images I created. There was one part of the trip that made me feel like an actual photographer and I ran into other students and i need them to be in the photo because I needed a lot of people, to make this photo work and it did. However while editing the phots i took from southbank, i did struggle on what works and also creating a theme. The photo i took of the group made me question if its better to be black and white or colorful or natural. It was hard to crop the photo because of the sky, whether to include it in or not. I’m still trying figure what to edit with, whether it to be black and white or natural lighting. I’m still indecisive with my editing skills, Im trying not to be continuous and try to expand on different ideas with editing.
